Welcome to Wrens, a vibrant community of approximately 2500 located on Highway 1, just 30 minutes south of Augusta.

Over the last few years we have made a strong effort to improve our infrastructure as well as our downtown and recreational areas to provide an environment welcoming to residents and businesses.
We have a new 25-acre recreational park, Rabun Park, located on Highway 17 that is home to three baseball fields, a soccer and football multi-purpose field. It also has a new gymnasium.
Our Water Pollution Control Plant will soon have the capacity for 995,000 gallons per day.
A Veteran’s Park is located behind the Post Office at the Intersection of Highway 1 and Broad Street. The Veteran’s Park holds memorial bricks for those in our community who have served or are serving in the armed forces.
As you can see, Wrens is working hard to provide quality services to its citizens as well develop capacity for new residents and businesses. The City of Wrens Government participates in E-Verify® an Internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security in partnership with the Social Security Administration that allows participating employers like the City of Wrens (E-Verify #197215, authorized March 11, 2009) to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees and the validity of their Social Security Numbers.
